Sinnerseter is an old “summer farm” (Norwegian: seter), where the farmers used to bring their cattle for the summer season.
Like all seters in Nordmarka, the farming activities were discontinued many years ago, and only some remainders of old buildings and some cabins are left. However, the grass meadows are still open and in good shape and have not been taken over by the neighbouring forest, which is probably due to sheep, cattle and horses nurturing here during the summer season.
The cache is a yellow waterproof box, wrapped in a blue plastic bag.
