Take Hatcher Pass road from Palmer side to Arch Angel road approx. 1/2 mile past MotherLode Resturant. Drive about 1.5 miles along BUMPY road to Reed Lakes trail head.
6in plastic container, misc. small items. The real treasure is the hike. Even for local residents accustomed to the scenery this is an exceptional hike with aqua-colored lakes, meadows with meandering streams, and unbelieveable rock formations covered with flowers and moss. Don't be surprised to see and hear the shrill whistle of marmots and the occasional gnome as shown in the picture. Most are friendly except the one guarding this cache which appears a bit onery. Enjoy
