Geocache Description:

This is a cache for TRAVEL BUGS ONLY! It is a safe haven for travel bugs everywhere. It is the equivalent to a bug terminal. Bugs from all over will travel here to depart to their desired destination. Please respect the Bugs privacy.

This cache is located in "Mentryville" up in Pico Canyon. There is alot of local history to be learned. This area once was home of "Pico number 4". It was the first successful commercial oil well in the western United States. I have included a local Santa Clarita website if you would like to view old photos or learn about the area as it was in the late 1800's and early 1900's.This cache has very simple rules:1. TRAVEL BUGS only!NO: log book, toys, etc.
