Geocache Description:

Lock 11 and Mildura Weir - part of the 'Chaffey Trail'.

Birdlife abounds near this unusual bend in the river. An easy walk in from the car park and you may find this Mini-cache just off the track.
The lock can be seen in operation most days around 11am, 12:30pm, 2pm and 3:30pm as the P.S. Melbourne passes through. The cache is hidden in typical mallee fashion beside a tree away from the main weir track and there is a picnic table nearby. Please under no circumstances attempt to hide/retrieve cache container if workers are at the nearby maintenance shed... Upgraded difficulty to reflect this but the new location should eliminate being surprised by muggles.! Take the time to walk around the island and read the story boards....
