A short careful drive down a poorly maintained road to park entrance and into the parking area at N44 08.537 W78 36.897. Or a long walk back up the road! From there stay on the upper path to come out to a spectacular view.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the wooded northern edge of the Moraine from the wooden viewing platform. Continue along the path until your GPS points almost behind you (you may see a pioneer’s rock pile near this point) before leaving the path.
No bushwacking required.
Cache is an ammo container filled with tempting trade items.
After logging in you may want to continue around the loop, or at least as far as ‘Birch Knoll’, the other cache in this 350 acre Ontario Heritage Property.
Please note that access to this property is from Hwy 35, turning east at Ballyduff Road. Although most maps show access from other directions, those roads are not usually suited to your average sedan.
