Geocache Description:

This cache is near a well known landmark called White Rock. The only problem, is that the rock isn't white.

The White Rock is a well known landmark in Verona that sits atop Second Mountain, and there are quite a few urban legends pertaining to it. Allegedly there was a KKK meeting held there back in the 1920's. Also before all of the 2nd growth reforestation of the area, the White Rock was visible from First Mountain. There is a water tank about 100 yards NW of the White Rock and there is a gravel service road that ends at the tank. Many cachers have bushwhacked through a wetland area leading up to it, and have been almost devoured by mosquitoes.
