BBM&J: Well we went and checked tonight while on a bike ride through the park. It is gone, no signs that it ever existed. It was fun while it lasted, but I knew once the kids found it it was only a matter of time. Thanks to all who found this one.

Geocache Description:

Located in the Tilden City Park.

If you like to walk, you can park near the Cowboy Trail at Hwys 45 and 275 and walk west on the CB Trail to where the city trail connects near the creek, than it is approx ½ mile from there. You could also park on the south end of park entering on 8th St. than the walk is much shorter. Cache is in ammo box. In it the days before refrigerators, the creek was diverted in the winter to flood the low areas and pond in this park so that ice could be harvested. A section of the original icehouse foundation is part of a flower garden to the east of the cache.
PLEASE NOTE!!! This cache has been discovered by some of the local kids, I am leaving it hidden where it is since the one kid that I talked to seemed to understand to keep quiet about the cache to others. Just in case, Please DO NOT leave any Travel Bugs here
