Geocache Description:


The posted coordinates are BOGUS and only provided for reference.

Upon hearing that a certain “Dry Side” geocacher wanted a special “Wet Side” cache, I created this cache as my bid for a suitable milestone cache.

The puzzle requires a bit of research, logic, clear thinking, and simple math to determine the coordinates for the waypoint, a micro.  Information provided at the waypoint will lead you to the cache; an ammo can located a short walk away.  The cache is located a short distance from the path in a typical wet side forest but the bushwhacking is minimal. Satelite coverage may be a problem due to the woods.

To obtain the coordinates for the waypoint, you will need to complete the following “cross canine” puzzle that is based on the canine pack that runs with "flyingdogs" and "runhills".

Solve for the waypoint coordinates (N47 42.abc / W122 04.xyz) by decrypting the letter in the identified square [n] and substituting into the following equations for the decimal minutes.

Decimal Latitude:    abc = 0.500 + .([7] [19] [16]) – .([10] [5] [9])

Decimal Longitude:    xyz = 0.000 + .([14] [3] [18]) – .([11] [15] [1])


Please note: WP1 is long gone. Entering the correct puzzle solution into the Geochecker will return the final location.
