Tambark Creek Park.
The future has arrived. As of June 28th Tambark Creek Park has been reopened after construction of ball fields, play area, dog park, and many trails. While much as changed some elements of the old remain.
While a pencil is provided it is always a good idea to have your own writing instrument along just in case.
>>*********** Below is the original text of the cache page ***********<<
In the future this will be Tambark Creek Park. Currently undeveloped. When the cache was first placed development plans include interpretive trails, but now ballfields are planned. Snohomish County and the City of Mill Creek jointly purchased this property. There use to be two homes and a farm here.
Terrain rating probably on high side, but there are some well hidden ruts and holes along the way. During the summer the blackberry vines came from nowhere.
Your are looking for an ammo can in a very traditional Northwest hide.
Walk slowly; on one of my trips to the cache I had a swallow circling me for several minutes.
10/6/2004 - Moved difficulty up to two stars. On a visit last week I found it hidden differently from how I originally hid it.
12/26/2004 - A small pond surrounds the cache area to the north and east. It is dry during the summer. Also a creek is between parking and the cache. Use the coordinates mentioned at the top of this section for the most dry route. Please be careful when crossing the bridge over the creek.
01/23/2005 - Opened to all.
08/05/2009 - Replaced with Lock-n-Lock, as ammo can was taken, but contents left. See August 5th, 2009 log.
