This cache is the first in a series of four caches which offers a roundtour and four nice spots of the Gjerdingen area. The overall distance is such that a bicycle is recommended in the summer season. In winter season some off-pist skiing will be required, most notably so for the first cache. Likewise there will be some bushing in the summer season. Alternative locations for start and return are Svartbekken, Tverrsjøstallen and Stryken. Under ordinary conditions 4-6 hrs for a complete roundtour should suffice.

The place offers a nice view towards east. The cache is a black waterproof box about 10*7*2 cm.
