Geocache Description:

Located at just off SH1 at Herbert.

This is were the Chief Surveyor of Otago, Commenced the first survey of North Otago in 1857.

There is a great view from the spot.

The cache is a 200ml snap lock container with log book and pens, plus a few goodies.
