The cache site is about 12 metres uphill from a track that is part of the local walkway system.There are many different ways to reach the cache site, but if you are short of time,park at S 41° 21.165 E 173° 11.885. The walk to the cache site will take about 10 minutes
The cache is a 400ml camo-painted container. It initially contained a log book, pencil, pen and a number of our "signature" items.
You will be rewarded with a great view. If you are feeling fit and have the time, a walk to the top would be worthwhile. There could be a bit of mud on small parts of the track during the winter months, but no problem. 25/7/18: A mountainbike track now runs very close to the cache site. Please use stealth when retrieving.
