Geocache Description:

One of the Palms to Pines Series

This scenic loop climbs from the resort city of Palm Desert via Highway 74 winding through the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains. This series will lead you to Highway 243, and the mountain village of Idyllwild, before descending again to the desert near Banning. You will pass through a variety of beautiful areas ranging from desert oasis to snowcapped mountains, and parts of the Santa Rosa Mountains National Scenic Area and San Bernardino National Forest.

National Forest Adventure Pass Required to Park

Cache is a decon container. Contents include a logbook, pencil, geoswag and geoletter. Less than 20 feet from car to cache up a little hill.
