Granite Rock Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Lightning1996: Sorry folks, but we are archiving this cache as well as the one down the trail a bit (Granite View). Granite View NEEDED to either have substantial maintenance or be archived, but there really isn't any good reason to archive this one except that we are pulling all 4 of our caches so we don't have to worry about maintenance issues.

We will still cache from time to time, but having been one of the original Prescott geocachers (waaaay back in 2001) and having had my share of caches out for people to find, plus having hosted and helped run 2 of the 3 (3 that I know of!) big events we had up here in Prescott, I am retiring from the hiding business for now (unless I find a perfect spot where I can think of a really tricky hide!!) and will let others enjoy hiding them. This is a really good location if anyone wants to put another cache near here.

Hubby "VStar" and I will be going out tomorrow (Sun 6/2) to pick up this cache. This cache was out for 9 (NINE) years!!

Jesus loves you! :)

Geocache Description:

A short walk (approx 0.15 mi) on a well-travelled trail from Williamson Valley Trailhead

The cache is a small ammo can hidden just off the trail. Watch for muggles approaching on 2 or 4 legs from any direction!

This cache is originally being placed as part of a contest for the Prescott Event Cache on July 10, 2004. After that date, it will remain as a regular cache to find.

As per usual in Arizona, watch for nasty critters and spiky flora.
