Geocache Description:

Another Classic nonnipoppy Hide!

This cache was originally placed by one of the early pioneers of Arkansas geocaching, nonnipoppy.
The cache was transferred by nonnipoppy to Old River Runner on 2/28/13.

There are lots of cachers who are old enough to remember when outer space was just a science fiction story.

At the start of WWII who would have believed that in just over fifty years we would be hunting for "treasures" using a receiver to interpret signals sent from a group of satellites in space.

Preparing this cache made poppy think about all the technological changes that the early "baby boomers" have seen.

GPSrs, PDAs, Computers, Laptops, Cell Phones and lots of other things. It is exciting to think what we will see in the remainder of our lifetimes. It literally boggles the mind to think what changes our children will experience in the future.

Now to the cache. This little multi will require you to find the final coords for the actual cache.

The final, full sized, cache container is located at N 35 27.ABC W 093 27.DEF

The coords on the top of this page will lead you to DEF, the last three digits of the west coord.

The coords for ABC, the last three digits of the north component, are found at N 35 27.228 W 093 27.668 (see additional waypoint and NOT hidden in the same way as DEF).

These coords are out in the open and written as .XXX the decimal being the key. They were placed where they are by the cache owner. The placement on private property is with knowledge and permission of owners or their authorized representatives.

This cache is a conglomeration of ideas and supplies furnished by two other unnamed cachers. We are not nearly as creative or original as they are but we do copy well. Thanks to you both!

One last thing: you are going to need to know the year of the attack on Pearl Harbor before you complete this cache. Do not jerk on the device. Just pull on it firmly and strongly!
