Stanton Moor, an oasis of gritstone amidst limestone country, an area of open, breezy, heather-clad moorland with fine views across the Derwent valley.
Parking 1/2 mile NNE of Birchover @ N 53 09.706 W 001 38.380.A circular route can be made by bearing north @ the Cork Stone, passing ALIENS HIDEAWAY GC1C09, The Nine Ladies stone circle & The Reform Tower.To locate the cache directly from the car park head for the stile @ N 53 09.669 W 001 37.812 and then follow the cache co-ordinates.
