Welcome to the 'Julius James' interchange. Named after the man whose family had lived here since the Civil War. Although over 100 years old and having lived here all his life, the state decided that an expanded exit was more important. His few relatives battled over custody of Mr. James (money was involved). Finally he was moved to another house nearby and died within months. This case brought national attention for a while. Phil Donahue actually did a remote show from Mr. James front porch.
