Geocache Description:

Another Mt. Pisgah cache This cache was adopted by Team Gold-n-Lite on 11/15/05.

Ah... the stories for this cache.

It started out as a prize given away at a Pizza Event in Southern Oregon (or Pixxa Events if you're a Rooster). Fresh_Meat won this cache and was to place it in the area.

Well, he didn't. The bum.

It stayed in his geo-rig for months, was never released into the wild and never exposed to the caching world.

Then, one fateful day, Baja Jack was helping a news crew from KMTR-TV in Eugene because they needed a cache to find. Well, he asks geniustara where they should go. She chooses to go up the hill. So we did.

This cache was placed by Fresh_Meat, geniustara, Baja Jack, Eric, Monica and Matt on a sunny day in July up Mt. Pisgah. It is now there for everyone to find.

There is poison oak all around this area, so be warned. Also, there is a $2.00 parking fee for the park. The cache is a blue ammo can full of goodies.

The hike is worth it, as the view from here is great.
