herk_cachers: Well, I guess my initial inquiries and research was faulty. Since this cache was apparently on a public use trail on Fort Richardson, it has been removed. Thanks to everyone that made our first cache a very memorable one. Nanook is still with us in Florida, but it just doesn't seem the same...

Geocache Description:

This easy cache is named after our new kitten, Nanook (who always looks sad that we don't take her caching).

The cache is a 7.62 ammo box and is located off a well used trail, under an evergreen, which should allow access during winter months. Enjoy the view of Anchorage on the way up!

P.S. - Added a waypoint for parking - however, you can still bushwack if you want!
