This cache was placed to highlight the Jackrabbit Mountain loop trail. The trail is slightly over 2 miles long and winds over the top of Jackrabbit Mountain and then along the side of Lake Chatuge. Try to time your hunt so that you finish up at Lake Chatuge late in the afternoon for a spectacular sunset. Park at 35deg 00.664'N 83deg 46.073'W. You will see the trail head on the way to park. The difficulty rating may seem too low if you have not walked many trails in this area, but I feel it is accurate when compared to other caches nearby.
