Geocache Description:

Two-part multicache in a park reclaimed by the city previously lost to overgrowth for many years. It offers a great view of downtown and the capitol dome, and only requires a short walk, most of which is on a paved path.

The cache is our first, and is inspired by the two very creative multi-s we did in Oxford, MS (Hot Pursuit by deltadawg and jenkies) and Memphis, TN (Treasure Hidden in a Field by Worldtraveler). In putting this fairly simple cache together, I really appreciate the effort that went into those great hides. If this develops a following, we’ll expand on it for our next hide. Please let me know how you like it. This is a great little urban park with a great view. Hope you enjoy it. Please remember to cache-in trash out. Cache is a 5.56MM ammo can.

The coordinates listed above will take you to stage one where you will you will find an object in the park plainly identified with a permanent sign. Use the first code to translate the type of organization specifically identified on the plaque to decipher the NORTH coordinates for the final location of the ammo box.

A=3, B=5, C=3, D=1, E=2, F=9, G=6, H=4, I=9, J=0, K=1, L=8, M=5, N=2, O=5, P=3, Q=3, R=7, S=4, T=7, U=5, V=1, W=0, X=9, Y=4, Z=8.

Use the second code to translate the name of the object specifically identified on the plaque to decipher the WEST coordinates for the final location of the box.
CAVEAT: You must ignore and skip any consonant that you have already used in this part only. This does not apply to the north coordinate. Be smart. Make sure your answer is reasonable. The final location of the cache is only some 600 feet away from the initial coordinates.

A=0, B=2, C=1, D=3, E=9, F=1, G=6, H=0, I=9, J=0, K=7, L=2, M=3, N=6, O=8, P=0, Q=1, R=9, S=0, T=2, U=2, V=8, W=5, X=5, Y=7, Z=9.

Note: You will only need to decode the number of letters from each word required to produce each coordinate in the standard LAT/LON-DEG.MM.MMM format as follows: N ?? ??.??? (where the question marks are replaced by numbers from the 1st setcode) W ??? ??.??? (where the question marks are replaced by numbers from the 2nd setcode).
