The Indiana Spirit Quest series of
geocaches will take you to a number of small, rural, historic
cemeteries built by Hoosier Pioneers in central Indiana. You can
map out a route and get a bunch of ‘em in one trip and at the
same time learn a little about our history.

Welcome to Krishner Cemetery in Chester
Township, Wabash County, south of North Manchester, Indiana, U.S.A.
This old boneyard is small and inactive, with stones dating to the
mid 19th century. There is plenty of juice available here, should
you need to recharge the batteries in your GPSr!

Open Book/ Bible= Deceased Teacher, Minister, etc.

Tree Stump w/Ivy= Head of Family; Immortality
Urn with /Wreath or Crepe-- Mourning
Stars & Stripes Around Eagle= Eternal Vigilance, Liberty
Hourglass w/Wings of Time= Time Flying; Short Life
Candle being Snuffed= Time, mortality
Coffin, Father Time, Picks/Shovels, Darts= Mortality
Hand of God Chopping= Sudden Death
Winged Effigies= Flight of the Soul

container is a small spice jar. If you find a fallen U.S. flag,
please stick it back in the ground, preferably next to a
Vet’s Marker. As always, please be respectful, and cache in,
trash out.
