Wright Mooar killed the famous "White Buffalo" on October 7, 1876. It was one of two albino buffalo known to ever been killed in Texas. While visiting in Snyder, be sure to see the White Buffalo statue on the court house square. NOTICE: This is a replacement cache for the original that was destroyed. We have moved it slightly from its original location in order to better protect it. The coordinates listed are the new ones. This is not located on private property.
