Geocache Description:

The cache is located in a rural area south west of Nelson. Another new cache has been placed and the co-ordinates and clue have been changed. Maybe this will be third time lucky.

The cache site is located on the grounds of an historic Waimea West landmark that pays tribute to a very influential local individual who was the youngest Bishop in the history of the Catholic Church. The cache also commemorates the 150th anniversary (December 2005) of the cache site. If you like the "wearin'of the Green" this is the cache for you.

The gate is not locked, but please return the chain to help protect the site.

The cache is a 400ml camo-painted container. It initially contained a log book, pencil, and smallish trading items.

PLEASE: BE SURE TO TOTALLY COVER THE CONTAINER. There is [plenty of material to do so.
