I-295 north "I Hate Micros" Micro Traditional Cache
s.sing: Careless and obvious cachers have rendered this cache, intended as a safe night find on a main US artery, useless. I obtained permission to place this cache here but that point is rendered useless when people begin destroying state property.
This is sad for me as this was one of my firsts and favorites.

Take a rest in NJ. Inside the building you will find info about NJ...Rock concerts, hikes with rock climbs, giant rocking chairs...outside you will find, hidden in plain sight, the cache. Things are not what they seem.
PLEASE PUT THE LOG CONTAINER LID ON TIGHTLY...THIS CACHE GETS WET BUT SMALL JAR IS WATERPROOF
Some backround:Family recently drove to Florida at night and, to keep it fun, we intended to find as many I-95 rest stop caches as we could. Problem was we hardly found any. It was nearly impossible to locate the hidden in the brush stashes at night. We were pretty disappointed. The few we found were clever, took some figuring, but were accessible and findable night or day. They also did not require bushwacking in dark woods at lonely rest stops (oooo, scary). This cache is my first contribution to the pave I-95 with caches drive. It's called "I hate micros" because that is what one of the boys said when we found one before our trip...the kids like the treasure. Finding ANY cache is treasure enough for us now.
8/12/04 Old log kept getting wet so I replaced it's holder with one I fashioned myself. The new cache is larger and can fit small items, keychain TB's etc. I added a gem from Disney, a hematite, magnetic dogs, earrings, necklace, and bubbles. NOTE: Cache holder can get wet but log stays dry as a bone.
8/27/06 Temporary cache in place. Log only.
