Geocache Description:

No Cheating! You need to start your quest at the "Bill Edge Deep Brook Reservation" located at N 42 38.778 W 071 24.110 to avoid trespassing on private property and to really enjoy this cache. Start off on the RED but turn to GREEN. Once over the bridge, use your GPS. Stick to the trails! No need to bushwack. Trails are well defined. This area was once used to quarry granite. You will see a lot of small holes where it was not too successful. Near the cache there is a deep quarry hole though which is now full of water so use caution. Keep an eye on the little ones! Its about a twenty minute brisk walk to the cache. The cache is a standard ammo box. We would like to keep this a SURVIVAL cache, so think of things you would need to survive in the woods for more than a few hours! A few of the things in the cache to start: Matches, candle, compass/signal mirror, AA batteries, emergency space blanket, foot warmers, etc.
A few notes:
• We're going to also put in a camera. Take a picture but please return it to the cache. We'll post the photos when all pics are depleted.
• Watch out for Muggles. They exercise themselves and their pets on the trails.
• When the blueberries are in season, bring a container. This area is loaded with wild blueberry bushes!
• If you hear gunfire while on the trail, there is a sportsmans club 1/2 mile or so away but there is no danger whatsoever.
• Last but not least, BUG SPRAY!
