- THIS IS THE ULTIMATE WINTER CACHE -
Nice spot to come watch the sunset. It is an easy trail system by foot, 4 wheeler or bike. It is a 300m walk or so by the river, bring your trunks and your fishing rod.Second placed cache with Lulubell, fourth for Priceboy. We hope everyone enjoys this area.
This cache was a stolen idea (and a spin off to my fifth idea; to be placed (may 2005)in Naughton, ONT - NAME T.B.A.) of a cache I visited in Timmins called McIntyre Letterbox Hybrid GCJ530 placed by Murfster. I have to give the credit to Murfster (who I met at the CEC Cache In event near Mattawa Oct 1, 2004). The cache is an idea I had in the back of my mind for a while and the location was fitting. Original cache contents are a logbook and such with a black inkpad. The intent of this cache is for postcards, letters, stamps and stickers in the logbook - bring your personnel stamp, or a finger print will do. We purchased two beautiful pins from the the "Busy Bee" in Nairn Center for the first two finders of our cache. Please enjoy the area. Enter off Hwy 17E at N 46deg 18.434 W081deg 39.708 and follow the main paved road to park at N 46deg 18.482 W081deg 39.979 or follow the bush trail (I did in a 2 wheel drive pick up truck) N 46deg 18.587 W081deg 39.492 and follow to the left when you get back to daylight! ENJOY! --- NOTE: Bring Bug Spray and a fly swatter! ---
