The cache is placed in what might be the best preserved part of "Ankerveien".
It should be available through winter, if not heavy snow conditions.
Ankerveien was build by Peder Anker around 1800 to connect "Hammeren" i Maridalen with Bogstad and Bærums Verk. Going west from the cache (Ankerveien is the UPPER road) you will find several really old trees. The kids will love to play here. Futher up, Ankerveien meets the old, abandoned "Kongeveien" that connects Oslo to Ringerike.
PLEASE DON'T REMOVE STONES FROM THE WALL
THIS MAY BE A CROWDED AREA. Please be aware of mugglers, and hide the cache well. Please leave the cache when the area is crowded, like many saturdays and sundays.
You are now very close to "Poor Pettersen and Openhanded Olav" - a very simple multi, or very close to normal cache. Just follow the road some more meters!
