A small but steepish hill giving 360° views over the surrounding countryside. A great place to sit in peace for half an hour.
A short but energetic climb takes you through some rather degraded bushland, yet still provides the likelihood of spotting kangaroos, echidnas, rabbits and an array of birds, topped by a nice surprise at the summit.Take care crossing the fence - don't climb it but find places (several) where you can easily step over it.In summer be aware that snakes can be about, so stay on the grazed areas and the rocks. This new cache, my first, seems to be the very first in the Wagga Wagga distict. The cache is a small clear plastic bottle 7 x 7 x 10 cm, so be prepared to swap smallish items. It contains a Winner's medal, a pencil sharpener, some pretty post-it notes, an eraser, and a small mechanical elephant taken from 'Dam! last chance to see...'. Of course there are also a small log-book and Geocache.com notice.
