This cache is part of the Box Canyon Road Series.
This stretch of Box Canyon Road is a scenic, desert drive connecting Interstate 10 with Highway 111. The areas surrounding Box Canyon Road are well-known for fantastic hiking through amazing rock formations in the surrounding washes, canyons, and mountains. Be sure to check out the other caches in the outlying areas.
You can park within 10-20 feet of the cache, depending on sand conditions. Cache is a decon container with logbook, pencil, and small swag. Please replace cache exactly as you found it to prevent plundering.
All desert rules apply: plenty of water, watch for desert residents (reptilian and otherwise), and watch for soft sand on the shoulders of the highway.
