Geocache Description:

I decided to place this cache after the dedication of the National WWII Monument in Washington, D.C.

An easy multi-cache in a park that might otherwise be overlooked by people visiting the valley. The coordinates are for the first (virtual) stage. Take a moment to read the marker, and note the following:Number of letters in the first name honored = ABNumber of letters in the last name honored = CThe second (virtual) stage is located in front of a major park feature at:N47 38.600W121 54.814There is a four-digit street number on the top sign, this = DEFG.The final stage is located at:N47 DE.(C-1)A(B+3)W121 54.CF(E-D)The cache is a small rubbermaid container. Intial contents include a flag-themed tradeshow badge lanyard, a mini CD-R, some small toys, and a few ski pins. Be patient when hunting the first stage and the final, as the tall trees can cause some delay before you are pointed to the correct location (the first stage should be fairly obvious). Some discretion may be required to avoid notice by nearby athletes.
