Our first cache involves an easy walk along the canal towpath near Adlington. NOTE CO-ORDINATES HAVE BEEN UPDATED TO IMPROVE ACCURACY FOR FINDING THIS CACHE.
We noticed that there are several caches in surrounding areas, but none in Adlington, and so we had to do something about it! :-)This is an easy cache to find, and is only a few hundred yards from Rawlinson Lane if you're feeling lazy (SD 59567 14149), but is a much nicer walk of just under a mile along the canal towpath if you park near Adlington Marina (SD 59922 12979).The cache is a metal flask with a geocaching.com sticker on it. It contains a notebook & pen, pedometer, pencil sharpener, squishy ball, and lip gloss. You do not need to cross boundaries or dig to find this cache!We hope you like our first cache, watch out for muggles since this is quite an open area, and happy searching! Wilf, Tom & Sam.
