This cache will be found just (about 40 feet) off of the beautiful
Appalachian Trail. You will be on top of a ridge that has very
large oak, hickory and beech trees. Take some time to "drink in"
the feeling of our glorious mountains. We have hiked here several
times and found very little trash. If you do find some, please use
CITO. The cache is a camo ammo box. We have put a lot of outdoor
goodies: poncho, blanket, compass, pedometer and some fun kids
stuff into the cache. Look for the magic Indian-head pennies. We
have also put the TB Milo Thatch in it. Good luck and enjoy nature!
I am fairly good at tree identification but I cannot tell what
species of tree that is growing up from the cache. Bonus pats on
the back if you can. Please share. Thanks
