Geocache Description:

This cache is on the former Callander & Oban railway line, through Glen Ogle. For the cyclists, this is on National Cycle Route No 7.For the walkers, it is part of Rob Roy's Way and Glen Ogle rail trail, see walkscotland.com.It is also wheelchair friendly, except for the actual cache, which is 4 metres off the track. The Victorian's pinned the Khyber Pass title to this Glen.A well used route, by Cattle Drovers, Cattle Thieves and Red Coats. This section of Railway managed to avoid Dr. Beechings cuts, by closing itself in 1965 with a rockfall.Parking at the top of Glen Ogle, the main car park has a snack bar, the smaller one 200 meters south is on the old railway bed, avoiding the road crossing. The cache, when I left it had the regular top of the range goodies in it.Lion King Soft Toy.Barmans Friend.Yo-yo.Smelly Candles.Scissors.Torch.Glasses Repair Kit.Key Ring.Etc.
