Stopped by on Aug. 12, 2005. Recent storms have knocked some trees down over the trail. Please use caution when walking under these "widow makers." We'll keep an eye on them and may choose to pull the cache if they start to look worse. You can stay on the trail to within about 20 feet of the cache. One of the parking areas (along a residential street) is located at N42 00.589 W091 37.128
We discussed rating the difficulty of the find as a "1", but decided the heavy tree cover (and the resultant poor GPS reception) warranted at least a "2" in high summer.
The cache container is a large ammo box (which one of our little acorns won as a doorprize at the Pleasant Creek CITO event). We were waiting to find the right place to hide it and are eager to share this spot with other cachers. Thanks to Welch for the excellent container and some of the original contents.
