Located in Beautiful Laurelhurst Park
One definition of a hutch is (According to Webster) a chest or a box where things may be stored. We are the Hare family and so we decided to place a Hare's Hutch. Think of this cache as a Geohutch. Laurelhurst Park is a jewel of a city park. Bring the kids to the large play area, bring tennis racquets to play on one of the four courts - they are even lit for night playing. Baseball diamonds, a soccer field, summer Thursday Night concerts ... come have a look if you've never been here.
The original hutch was stolen after just one find. I have prepared a new hutch and relocated it to a different part of the park. A new container was placed on 7/1/05 - it is a lock 'n' lock with room for small items.
NOTE added 8/11/05 - the cache is in great shape. Checked the notebook and there was an entry that read - Found by Seattle Parks Department ... Great Game ... Took Nothing, Left Nothing. I wonder if they know there are actually 4 caches in this little park.
NOTE added 8/2/06 - Incarnation number 4 I believe. Cache replaced, stocked, cammo'ed, etc. How long until the teenage muggles steal it again?
