Find the beach access sign on Manuwai Drive, the sign is in line with the numbers 21a and 23 then follow the path.
You could also walk to this spot from Ferguson park at low tide or if you don't mind wet feet you could do it at high tide.
There are 39 steep and sometimes slippery steps down to the cache so it is marked as a 3. Sea lettuce in summer at high tide mark can also make it slippery on the sand.
ONCE AGAIN YOU WILL NEED TO BE CAREFULL WITH CHILDREN AS THIS CACHE INVOLVES BEING CLOSE TO THE WATER and steep stairs. Do not climb the bank as it is fragile and private property.
There is no need to leave the stairs to find the cache
