This cache will have special meaning to a lot of South Australian cachers. (This is an old cache placed in 2004!)
In the early years of SA caching, Bruce (of Liz and Bruce) would always arrive at an event with a load of pickled octopus containers that he gave out to any one that wanted them to use as cache containers. Hence the state was 'littered' with these containers. When we saw the pickled octopus signs in this area we could not help but trip back down memory lane.
Liz and Bruce have now turned into a travel bug and their adventures can be followed on geocaching.com as they travel around this huge country. They were one of the founding teams in South Australian caching.
