Geocache Description:

An easy park and grab in Guadalupe River State Park. Pay your entrance fee and watch your speed. They've got Radar.

Well, I rented a raft and she’s ready for floatin’
Ol’ Guadalupe, she callin’ my name
Catfish are jumpin’
Those rapids keep runnin'
Black water keeps rollin’ on past just the same

This is a great place from which to observe the Black Water flowing. Try not to get any on you. Seems like all the caches in this park require a hike. This cache will change all that. Park, take a load off, find, log, and go. Easily reachable from the camping areas on foot.

The Honey Creek Natural area tour starts from near this point. 9AM Saturdays. You can only get into the Honey Creek Natural area during the tour.

Cache is a 50 cal ammo can painted flat grey to better match in with its surroundings.
