If you find the portal to the platform is closed, you may wish to use your own form of transportation to arrive at Hogwarts before the beginning of the school term.

Note...This structure is listed on the National Register of Historical Places and is in the process of being restored. Please take care to leave this site undisturbed. At this time, you cannot enter the structure, but you are free to observe it from the outside to pick up your clues.

Stage #3

The final stage is in a large ammo can, hidden in the Forbidden Forest on the grounds of Hogwarts (beware the large spiders, centaurs, and other creatures that could cause you harm). The original contents of the cache include a logbook & pen, broomstick pencils, various Harry Potter & wizarding items, and Hogwarts Express buttons. This cache is not limited to magical trade items. Feel free to trade any item with a Muggle replacement.

You need not stray far from the path in the Forest, as the cache is hidden within 20' of the trail.
