We went for a daytrip to Manning Park and thought while we were up there that this spot needs a cache. The problem is that we didn't go prepared to place a cache, so when a suitable spot was found, I dug out of my pack an empty film canister and a scrap of paper along with a few pins from my daughter and packed it up together. The cache is located up in the sub-alpine meadows which can be reached by turning north off the highway across from the day lodge area and following the road up the mountain until you reach the end. The views up there are spectacular and the trails are great, so make it more than just a pitstop. This cache is only going to be accessible until around thanksgiving for the park will be closing the gate when the snow starts to fall. If someone visiting the cache would be so kind as to leave a little more paper and a pencil with the cache it would be appreciated as space will run out soon on what is there.
