Geocache Description:

The Psyche pumps, a 100 year old working example of the historic beginnings of Mildura as an irrigation colony.

The pump house is open to the public only on selected weekends(usually public holiday long-weekends),however I have attached a picture of the interior so you can have a glimpse. The Boiler and other items of interest are viewable nearby in the boiler house. A great spot for a picnic/bbq....Cache is 1.8 litre tupperware container in the nearby bushland. Original contents include some Garmin goodies - etrex gps series cover and an Emap suction cup mounting bracket.
*** Note - Access road to the river and pumps is "dry weather only"....For this and some of my other caches this document may be of interest - www.parkweb.vic.gov.au/resources05/05_0382.pdf
