Torbay was named in 1831 by Governor Stirling whilst exploring the area with Surveyor General Roe. It is named after Tor Bay on the coast of Devon, England. A tor is an isolated mass of rock.
Access to this cache is via Elleker-Grassmere Rd, Muttonbird Rd, then North Rd, which gets rougher, but not impassible for 2wd's towards the end.
Should be able to get to this cache without a 4x4 but don't go past the carpark at 35 02.229s 117 40.963e. Be aware sand track maybe a little soft in the summer for two wheel drive. This is a drive too if you have a 4x4. The cache is in an ammo box and to find it the coordinates will lead you to a benchmark (ALB 111), from there you will need to go 12m at 250deg, then 12m 020deg, then 2m 120deg.
A compass is recomended for this cache.
