The purpose of this cache is to provide some basic information about the sport to new geocachers and to people who may be interested in the sport. There are no trade items in the cache at this time, I will add some shortly.Travel bugs are always welcome. The contents include a brochure that contains information about the sport, along with links to the state and local/regional geocaching forums, Cache in Trash out canisters, and a log book. Although it was placed specifically for beginning cachers, everyone is welcome to find the cache.
To find the cache, find the parking and trailhead at St Edwards Park (N30 24.409 W97 47.413) From there, your walk is a little over .25 mi to the cache depending on which way you go. There is knee high grass, so chiggers are a likely threat.
