Cache is located in an ammo box at the top of Paradise Divide northwest of Crested Butte.
One of the most scenic summer drives you will encounter, Paradise Divide can be accessed from three different directions. From Crested Butte take the road to Mt. Crested Butte, take a left at the Slate River Road. North of Pittsburg take the zig zag road to Paradise Divide; or go beyone the Slate River Road and take a left at the Washington Gulch Road and follow that to the zig zag road; or take the Mt. Crested Butte road to Gothic, then to the top of Schofield Pass. At the top of the pass take a left to Paradise Basin and the top of Paradise Divide. 4-wheel drive highly recommended. Not accessible in the winter months. Original cache contains: Colorado Rockies collector pin, checkers game, Kid Stuff car, Where's George Dollar, whistle, "T" key chain, dolphin pin, foreign coin, airplane toy, basketball magnet, granite.
