Geocache Description:

This Jonathan Borofsky sculpture was recently placed in front of the Baltimore Pennsylvania Train Station. It has created a lot of controversy and stimulates thought and conversation. The train station is also a historic location with plaques detailing its signifacance. It was built nearly a century ago to compete with New Yorks' grand terminals. Plans are in the works to upgrade and renovate the terminal beyond the recent upgrades.

This recently placed scultpure is rather large, 51', and can be seen from a good distance including I-83, the Jones Falls Expressway. Its appearance changes considerably night versus day. The sculptor, Jonathan Borofsky, has created a number of similar sculptures in Europe and other places, always controversial and thought provoking. To get credit for this cache, email the owners the number of lights at the base illuminating the sculpture. (There was another challenge question but that has been 'overcome by events'. We'll work on coming up with another shortly. 4-5-06)

While you're at it, state your opinion as to whether this statue is appropriate or whether as many believe, it was fun, now please restore the dignity of the classic Penn Station.
