GlenMart: The cache is gone... gone... probably out to sea. With the hiding spot having washed away too... we have decided to archive this cache.

The Willamette River starts in the mountains of west central Oregon. It joins the McKenzie River at Eugene and flows past Harrisburg, Corvallis, and Albany. Here the Calapooia River joins and it flows on through Willamette Valley. After the Santiam River joins, it continues past Independence and Salem. At Oregon City, it tumbles over the Willamette Falls and passes through Portland before joining the Columbia River to the Pacific.
This cache is placed alongside the Willamette River on an easy approximate .17 mile walk down Takena Landing Trail. The spot looks like a geocaching hiding spot and you can reach it from the trail. The cache is an oversized sandwich container: Log book, pen, plus an assortment of items. No bushwhacking is required. This area is frequented by hikers, joggers, and bikers. Please re-hide well after finding.
3/19/05 We updated information on this cache. For some reason it is difficult to get a good reading on the coords so a very good hint is given.
