Cache is located in Point Mallard Park, Decatur, AL and is readily accessible by asphalt road. This is a popular park and searchers should be cautious in not revealing its location to casual onlookers. It is well hidden from public view. This is a good first time cache for kids and parents should take a camera along to capture the moment of discovery.
The cache, an ammo box, was originally stocked with inexpensive toys and doodads appropriate for boys from 5 years old to pre-teens. The original contents were: a spinner helicopter, Elmers school glue, tape measure, bag of marbles, small bladeless box cutter (blades need to be separately purchased by adults), measuring spoon set, spark plug gap tool coin, sling shot. To maintain the theme of the cache for kids, replacement with equivalent kids toys is recommended but add some girl toys also.
