Flat Stanley Visits Geauga County Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

GeaugaGarmin: Sadly this part of the lovely woods has been decimated by heavy equipment and some sort of logging activity. Stanley had a good run in the many years this cache existed.

Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed as a tribute to all the children who participate in the Flat Stanley Project. Thank you to the first grade students at Grafton Elementary School in Grafton OH for sending me my first Flat Stanley.

Since the woods has changed significantly since he was first hidden, he's in a new spot not far from the original coordinates. He is a friendly fellow and likes visitors so it won't be hard to find him. But he doesn't want to be discovered accidentally, so please be sure to cover the container completely before you leave!

This is a themed cache. It was started with an assortment of "flat stuff for the flat dude". Please trade only flat items! The cache container is a tupperware type container 8x11x2.5" and is flat (of course!).

Please be creative and have fun thinking up new flat items that you can bring to this cache as trade goods.

Wear bug spray! and enter the park from Route 608.
