Under medeltiden låg här en hamnplats som kallades
Sikavarp som hade stort betydelse som marknadsplats och
utskeppningshamn. Troligen administrerades hamnen av kyrkan. Efter
reformationen under Gustaf Vasa koncentreras all handel till
städerna och genom detta förlorar Sikavarp sin
betydelse.
Gömman är en 0,3 l plastburk och innehåller
loggbok, penna och lite bytesvaror.
In the Middle Ages this was the site of Sikavarp, a very
important commercial centre and export harbour and the port was
probably administered by the church. Following the Reformation
under King Gustaf Vasa in the 16:th century the trade was confined
to the towns and cities and Sikavarp lost its commercial
standing.
The cache is a 0,3 l plastic box containing a logbook, a pencil
and some trading items.
